Making it happen together
We know the profound value of performing arts to our students and our community, and the special concentration of talent and enthusiasm for music, dance, theatre, and film – in the Napa Valley. Students educated in the new St. Helena Performing Arts Teaching Facility will have the ongoing benefit of this community’s support and the value of cultural enrichment to pass on to their children. There is a lack of the public funding that is critical for performing arts education in our schools, and our community continues to show a growing interest in creating first-class teaching and performance arts facilities. The St. Helena Performing Arts Theatre Foundation can facilitate and manifest this vision.
We need help to build this educational facility for the students. It will take the generous, philanthropic support of those who share a value of the Arts. We need and appreciate contributions to this ongoing effort. Based on preliminary estimates of a construction firm experienced in the Napa Valley, as well as on an ongoing, detailed financial assessment, capital and initial operating expenses for the new buildings total approximately $2 million for the Teaching Facility and $8 million to replace the dilapidated auditorium.
Student and professional performances at the St. Helena Performing Arts Theatre will illumine our lives for many generations to come, and will greatly benefit our community. St. Helena Unified School District can offer the value of an excellent performing arts curriculum to attract and keep families here in the local community. We look forward to your support and involvement in the Project.
Your tax deductible donation is greatly appreciated in any amount.
